Study Conducted on Women Aged 50 to 70 with Heart Issues

Islamabad: A recent American study has confirmed that regular consumption of mangoes can help reduce the risk of heart disease, especially in women suffering from obesity and high blood pressure.
The research specifically focused on women between the ages of 50 and 70 who were affected by heart-related issues such as high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels.
In the study conducted in the United States, participants were instructed to consume 350 grams of mango daily for two weeks. Blood sample analysis revealed that just two hours after consuming mangoes, there was a significant reduction in systolic blood pressure.
Additionally, improvements were observed in arterial stiffness, and the women experienced an average reduction of 13 points in their cholesterol levels.
